In Philippians 4:4 of the Holy Bible, we are told to “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” Always? You must be kidding right? How can we rejoice in the loss of a loved? How can we rejoice in times of bad news? How can we rejoice in the midst of difficult circumstances? Really, always? YES, ALWAYS!! Understand, as Christians, we don’t praise the problem, we praise the Provider. And in every single circumstance of loss, pain, and heartache, Our loving Heavenly Father provides His Divine Grace. In times of pain, God provides healing; in times of loss, God provides provisions; in times of heartache, God provides comfort. According to Ephesians 4:6, “one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” No matter what difficulties, trials, or tribulations we face, God is our all in all. We can trust Him to take care of us and meet all our needs. Amen. How do we get from doubting God to trusting Him? As with any relationship, it takes time. We have to invest time with God to get to know Him and we get to know God by reading His Word in the Holy Bible. “Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ” (Romans 10:17).
